Terms & Conditions of Service

1. Free Access & Educational Nature

Access to all domain curriculum materials, starter kits, project rubrics, and submission review pipelines is provided completely free of charge. Participation in virtual internships constitutes project-based skill building and does not create an employer-employee relationship with EdBytes or its corporate partners.

2. Academic Honesty & Code Submissions

Students must submit work authored by themselves. Mentors and automated tools inspect repositories for authenticity. Submitting copied work or plagiarized code without proper attribution will result in immediate disqualification and workspace revocation.

3. Certificate & Verification

After completing all required curriculum tasks, students can obtain their certificate at the price saved when they registered for that internship. If the saved price is ₹0, no certificate payment is required. If payment is required, an administrator must verify the submitted UPI transaction reference before certificate download. After certificate generation, the public verification page displays the intern’s approved task evidence links.

4. Certificate Release Date

A normal certificate keeps the original internship dates and unlocks at 12:00 AM India time on the internship end date. All required tasks must be approved, and any required payment must be confirmed by an administrator. Eligible students may instead choose Get instant certificate and explicitly confirm a permanent, one-time change moving both the offer-letter and certificate dates back one calendar month. The same day is kept where it exists; otherwise the previous month's final day is used. This confirmed option permits immediate download even if the revised end date is still in the future. Public verification uses the revised dates, while original dates, the prior credential version, consent and submission history remain recorded. Choosing to wait changes no dates.

5. Referral Programme & Credits

For a valid new-person referral, the referrer earns 7 credits (₹7) when all required internship tasks in the referred student's registered workspace are approved. The referrer's own task progress, either person's certificate payment or download, and internship end dates are not conditions for this reward. Pending rewards qualify under this rule when the referred workspace's required tasks are all approved. One referral credit equals ₹1 for withdrawals; the minimum withdrawal is 49 available referral credits (₹49). Pending, free, and purchased credits cannot be withdrawn as referral earnings. Payouts are sent manually by an administrator to the requested UPI ID. Additional domain registrations for the same person do not earn another reward. Previously awarded rewards and payout records retain their recorded amounts.
